MAXIMUM WHEEL AND TIRE SIZE ON A E55
I'm currently running 245 x45x19Front and275x35x19 on 8x19 front and 9.5x19 rear....It fits and perform great.
I recently achieved a set of 20x9 wheels(245x45x20 tires)for the front and 20x10.5 wheels(275x35x20 tires)for the rear.
Is there any performance gain to be had with this upgraded wheel and tire package?
I'm good in the performance part with the current set up I'm running, but the new package wheels and tires is a better looking set up.
I would like to know what's the best tire combination to go with these new 20's for fit and performance?

No, 20s will make you slower, especially with a taller rim/tire diameter than stock. More rotating mass to be turned.
Also, those new tires are definitely the wrong size for the car; 3" taller in the front and 2.3" taller in the rear.

Edit - Also, why the hell are you currently running a 245/45_19 in the front? That's a full inch taller in the front than the rear 275/35_19, which itself is already 1" taller than stock.
So to recap, your current wheel/tire diameters are....
+2.0" F
+1.3" R
And your new setup will be...
+3.0" F
+2.3" R
WTF?

I dont understand how this guy is even fitting a 245/45R19 in the front!! No way will a 245/45R20 fit, unless he has installed a 3" lift kit like a mud truck, LOL
