Do a search for "Hurricane Scoops" there is a thread that Berti created where you will find details about purchasing some scoops. Grab em while you can as they wont be available forever.

No documented proof that I know of however forcing more air into the small openings seems like a good idea. For me the concern would be the area that the scoops block in front of the raidiator.
