I dont know your whole story or the tip of the iceberg so to speak, but you wont get far with overly sensitive females on here. give your shop a call if they can earn your trust back, Good luck.

Facts are facts, sorry to burst your bubble but benz works is a horrible place to go and fix your car let alone mod it. Obviously from problems that I've experienced second hand, I was there the whole time, every time hpv12 went to go check on his car and still nothing, never saw serge working on it at all, always saw other cars on the lift. It was parked in the back with other cars blocking it fyi. So therefore he just left it there or showed it off. I guess in this economy people will do anything for money, right?

Hey man, stop with these stupid facts. We all know a 100 dollar head gasket will not pay his overhead.

Oh so tough over the forums johnnyB.

You really dont want to meet up and talk about this? You have so much insight I'd love to hear you call me a liar and talk **** to me face-to-face. I would really like that. After all, you are so quick to post your bs here and discredit me. Am I giving you too much credit to think you would stand your ground in person? Most likely seems to be the case

So like you said, you're done. Gtfo.

I believe the OP was just firing back to your "i am insulting you dense this and that" part.

We should all, as a community, since NO ONE was there during this experience wait patiently to hear what the Vendor has to say about the OPs post, thus we wont be having a one sided story?

Last I checked, I have only seen slandering by you and your girlfriends.

NOTHING from the Vendor. Your illegitimacy/credibility opinions are the sounds one would hear after the fact from far away, female like tendencies.

Lets ALL as a tight knit community of Mercs to AMG lovers & true car enthusiasts, kindly, ask the Vendor to reply to this TRUE or FALSE story.

Don't you think thats fair, Jb?

Just stop, he's too busy johnnyblazing to comprehend much of anything.

Serge is a big boy. And we have seen his name Sergs99m3 at the bottom reading along this whole time, nothing. Silence. Crickets. He'd rather sit back and hope this blows over while I get discredited. Not happening. Because I have told the truth. There is no rebuttal. HE dropped the ball. HE lied to me. Period.

Whats he going to come say? I'm lying and he bent over backwards to please me? How would you figure? By calling my car a pos and trying to get me to buy a new engine from him and have him build me an EV12? Yes, very helpful. Thank you Serge. And thanks for no gas. And my broken pano. And my missing buttons. And the overall mess you left my car in. Thank you and thank you.

And yeah according to these clowns, I should have just left it there longer and try to come to an "agreement". Lol

Completely fair. Serge, actually posted a bit earlier to him willing to work this out.

I'm sure both parties can work this out.

HPv12 - Good luck with everything. Stop being an e-thug. It discredits your whole thread worse than anything.

Like the saying goes... If it's on the internet it must be true :
Unfortunately I've seen many threads like this with different vendors and different forums playing out everybody to watch from their cheap seats

Since this thread involves a place of business I visit often I'll chime in. I can only speak from my experiences and the experiences from friends and family I have referred to BenzWorks.

I have been in the car modding scene well before I could even drive and have had my share of bad experiences/headaches with various shops. Being the car nut I am that has never discouraged me from continuing to mod. One thing people always tend to overlook is that many of the mods done on a car is intended for off road use only. Meaning bye-bye warranty and further you take the car out of original spec the greater the chances of something going wrong. Basically mod at your own risk.

I have been dealing with Serge for the past 7 years and wish I had met him earlier from day one when I first started tinkering with MB's. To this day he is the only one I truly trust to wrench on my cars. My experiences with him have always been top notch and know if I had any concerns he would go out of his way to remedy. My trust level is exceptionally high with Serge. I even have the wifey drop off her Benz pay and complete transactions on her own. I wouldn't let her do that at any other indy shop or dealership with the chance of getting taken advantage.

Serge is probably one of the main reasons I stick with being loyal to the Mercedes brand. I just don't want to have to find try and find a different tech/specialist. I honestly see him as a true gem to SoCal Benz owners.

Jb, the Vendor asked for the OP to give him a call, I was referring to an actual reply on here, thus there wont be any future confusion of he said she said.

Again, stop with the immature jabs to the OP, we do not care about your female like opinions. Counseling sessions are offered(Im sure) outside of this thread. We only care about the resolution.

Please refrain from posting additional remarks to the OP. Opinions are for in person confrontations to which you sincerely received an invite too from the OP which I take you declined politely.

Im sure the OP and Vendor can come to some understanding through here. It'll be best for both sides, we have an audience anyway.

As I already said, I never doubted other people had good experiences with him. This was just what I went through.

Exactly you got to share your experience, and I felt like chiming in and sharing a brief overview of my experiences. Is that not allowed here? Is this thread supposed to be completely one sided and purely anti BenzWorks?

Serge has worked on my cars for the past 8 years without an issue. I feel lucky to have him local to me. Hope you guys get it worked out.

Did I say it was not allowed? Did I say anything negative towards you at all or what you said? No. I did not. I just recounted how I already said for sure there will be people who have had good experiences with him. So relax Mikey. You seem a bit jumpy there.

a land yacht.
so it seems like this is the summary:

if you have an EV12, don't bring it to BenzWorks

if you have another benz or AMG, bring it to BenzWorks

And guys your "good experiences" are completely irrelevant to my situation... how many pleased customers do you think TTM had before they bit the dirt and got caught? I remember a time TTM was all over this board and had just as many cheerleaders. And furthermore, these "good experiences" dont change the facts regarding MY situation. Plain and simple. If a thousand people came in singing the same tune as say you Mikey, or Vader it wouldn't change a thing. I'll believe what I have seen and know firsthand. And I have seen far from "professionalism" from their end. And if you guys think returning a customer car in the condition mine was is "professional" and being "taken care of", well I guess we have different definitions of what "professional" means. Any real race/tune shop would laugh at Benzworks if they would get to examine my car as-is fresh from Benzworks..

It amazes me he didn't even have the decency to put my ecu cover back on and finish the work in the passenger footwell. But yet here all you guys have been taken care of 110% smh.........

Sorry to the OP for the bad experience. They are bound to happen here and there, even with the best of vendors. As others have said, only the parties directly involved know exactly what went down. But whether a result of miscommuncation, subpar service, or unreasonable expecations, something clearly went wrong somewhere along the way.

What I do know for sure is that Serge is a stand up guy who runs a quality shop and aims to please his customers. I've trusted him with several of my Merc's on many occasions, and I'm as particular as they get about who I let touch my car. Nothing but good things to say about his work, character, products, and customer service. Despite this unfortunate event, I will continue taking my car to Benzworks until Serge gives me reason to do otherwise.

Good luck to the OP and hope you get things worked out elsewhere.
