Hey I changed my oil for the first time since I had this car and I put 8.5 quarts in and the reading on my cluster drops down to 6.3ish

 

Starts from 7.5qts goes down to 6.5 now.

 

If you know you put in the correct amount. Then don't worry about it. I wouldn't trust the oil level sensor. You should just buy a dip stick and measure the old fashion way

Thanks, Yah I see that now while driving with the oil sensor on see how much it moves up and down while driving.
