Arrow SCAM ALERT - "Elbert Garcia"

So as some of you may have seen, I've posted a quick thread looking for a set of CLS55 / CLS63 AMG mufflers.

Funny thing was... I'm glad i saw V8Merc124's post. If it wasn't for him... I "probably" would have fell for this @SSHOLE's scam.

So check it. Here's my thread...

https://mbworld.org/forums/engine-pe...-mufflers.html

Here's a PM I received...

Then comes the email... (but of course, there are pictures too)

Glad I came across the thread.

I thought I'd post this to prevent others from making a mistake.

Just looking out for my fellow members.

Guys please note that all NEWLY created PayPal accounts are automatically prohibited from withdrawing ANY funds for 21+ days. If they are unable to withdraw your money then they can't scam you. Money gram is instant and untraceable. Please either use PAYPAL (safest method) or CC with an authorization form and letter head.

Paying with CC online has gotten safer as more payment processors have strict guidelines to accept a CC via website. So chances are you won't be scammed or 'hacked' or any other BS stories.

I've never herd of a "dormant" paypal account in using it for over 15 years....he could create a whole new account and have it verified within 3 days if he wanted. Tell him to get a new account or no deal.

I would not have dealings with anyone who has a newly created account. Buyer beware

Look at everyone jump on this bandwagon. I don't know though, I think we should just sit here and see what comes of it ain't that right Heissrod , and if the "scammer" doesn't come in to post then we can't make a decision based on what the OP is saying.

This place is a joke.
We have many members on the forums who live in Florida. Ask for a local address for pickup.

Prior to reading V8Merc124's post about this "Elbert" guy, his email responses gave me this vibe like something just wasn't right. He would completely ignore some of my questions.

+1... i guess i'm just a bit careful nowadays since i was scammed in the past for thousands. All i know from experience is that... Paypal's got my back. Money Gram doesn't.

I don't understand how some people actually fall for scams from a dumb person like that.
