This was probably a one off but does anybody know who actually built it in what country? I would love to see other angles on it! I would actually get one for a reasonable price. It would definitely be unique and unlike those WALD kits and whatnot (and without those wheels and CF) it doesn't look tacky.

1997 Nissan 240SX looking for an E55.
Love that front bumper

Hey bud sorry to bother, would you happen to know that type of front bumper that is in the pictures that you have attached? On the later pics it likes it just has the stock bumper.

What do you guys think of this one?

Why does everyone make an abortion of widebodying the E? The front and rear just need to be radiused slightly.

The car needs to be sectioned right down the middle and have 6" added.

YES!! THIS!! What you just wrote is perfection, the W211 does not suit a widebody, it looks retarded but if it had been 6 inches wider, through the middle, it would have looked like a BEAST!! Also, 8-9 inches longer, Audi RS7 sized.

I don't, I think it's a custom bodykit. It looks terrible to be honest, makes it ricey. I think what HeissRod said was the best but obviously is impossible/improbable. Needs extra length too.

You can't use the front bumper by itself even if you can get it because it's made to blend in to the widebody.

The Audi A7 body has the same "problem". One of the only reasons why I don't like the Audi RS7 is because it is the exact same width as the lowly A7. In the Audi RS-world, that's pretty much blasphemy as traditional RS models always sport a wider body and/or flared fenders at a minimum. The RS6 (Avant) is about five inches wider than the A6. Too bad it isn't sold in the USA...

I'm still an AMG noob, but as far as I know, only certain black series vehicles sported flared fenders and/or greater overall width. 'Regular' AMGs vs standard models are no wider - is that correct?

Yes but the W211 just doesn't suit a widebody kit because the car, in it's look is PERFECT. It's just small in size. Think of it like Sean Connery but we shrinked him, with his same proportions but shrinked him and maybe gave him shorter legs, which I'm using as an analogy for the overhang.

If the overall car was longer and the last 1/4 of the car was a little stretched, it would look very nice. When it comes to width, I wouldn't go as far as 6 inches but 3 would definitely have been nice. There's no point even talking about this anymore because what's done is done.

What annoys me is, why is the E class always smaller than the 5 series? Shouldn't the Merc be the bigger, fatter car with more presence?!!

The RS7 really doesn't have a size problem, I saw one the other day and the car is BIG!! I know the RS tradition is for a wider body but the car, with the bodykit doesn't lack presence to say the least. It's not a beautiful car to me though. I really don't like Audis, I admire them but I don't want one.
