Widebody Mercedes E63 AMG

You guys remember that ugly RollinArt widebody W211 that was being built for SEMA? As I recall they tried to then sell the tacky piece of **** for a crazy price like 100k or something. Some of us were excited because from the progress of the build it looked like it could be something nice but ended looking like a dog's turd.

What do you guys think of this one?

The kit itself looks really nice. Idk about blk hood and wheel color...not my cup of tea

I like the kit because it's more subtle. I absolutely love those copper wheels, just not so much on a silver car

Looks a lot better. Something about the slope of the widened fenders on this one or the lack of a disgusting bodykit.

Not a widebody..more of a fender flare.

keep it stock ..with the correct offset wheels and it will look better...

I think it looks much better than the SEMA car, it's alot more subtle and looks alot like a CLK63 Black Series widebody. The bootlid also matches the bodykit. I think the normal W211 is beautiful but it simply lacks the width to make it a dominant car on the road. The other day I parked in a shopping center and some Hondas are wider, it made me cringe Then there's the last quarter section of the car, it doesn't match the first 3/4's sexy lines, it looks long and slender 75% of the way then the remaining 25% is like it was rear ended by a truck, it looks stumpy. I'm surprised you guys don't notice that. I've noticed this trend amongst Mercs in general but the W211 really shows it because the first 75% of the car is so slender then just stumps at the end. For me a car's looks are by far the most important thing so I tend to notice crazy small details. This bodykit however seems so help the stumpy rear issue by allowing the car to sit lower but not make it looks slammed and make the rear wheels disappear into the fender.

Here's a video

Best looking AMG of all time, in my opinion was the 2004 CLK DTM, but that was not a kit - it was factory built. Pity they only made 100 of them. That thing had a real wide *** with 20's on the back and 19's up front and the whole thing lowered. Only ever seen them in silver - must be sexy as hell in black.

Are you serious? CLK DTM is the best looking AMG of all time? The CLK63 BS is better looking than the DTM let alone all the other AMGs. I think the new W222 from the outside is the best looking AMG and the C216 is just beyond words. I guess different strokes for different folks. Personally I think the DTM is too outrageous and crazy, something that belongs at SEMA or as a little run car, which it was.

What wheels are these? I thought they were 360 Forged or ADV's, but don't think so.
If they were in any other color than copper they would look great!

I never said I had good taste. My all time favourite was the 16v 190E 2.3 litre Cosworth they used to race in South Africa against the BMW 325is and Opel Superboss. Now that had a bodykit - the boot spoiler was at roof height to allow the driver to see under it and through rear the window. Those things had zero suspension they were so close to the ground.

It looks okay. The rear flares don't match the fronts, and look stupid. They didn't want to have to modify the rear doors so they made the flares low and skinny. If you're gonna bother to do it at all, do it right IMO.

The kit is "alright". Not really as attractive as the non-widebody. But that's just me. Here is a pic of the front when it was completed...

The rear fenders aren't as bad only because it mimics the CLK Black Series.

....ok now I'm actually really liking this look I think from the back it looks EPIC, from the front I think the rear fender flares are too much. I think the rear fender flares should have been more subtle but honestly this kit really flows well. Is there a side picture of this kit because that is what's important about the car for me. In that picture of the rear right side it's just SEXY. That trunk, the wheels and the widebody just give it so much flow and presence. It looks much thicker than the standard car.

Any info on the finish on those wheels? Chrome powder coating perhaps?

This place is a joke.
I think with the right wheels and tires, no crazy rim colors and no hella-stupid rubber bands, this kit would actually look really good. The black (carbon) hood and grill aren't helping either.

I agree If it was all black on black wheels (HREs maybe) it would look much less...ricey.
