Wanted: AMG Type IV wheels (W211 E55 OEM)
I am looking for individual or a set of AMG Type IV wheels for an W211 E55. The wheels must be completely original and never repaired or refinished. I am only interested wheels that are cosmetically perfect with no blemishes whatsoever on the front or backside. I would like to explore all options before purchasing new OE wheels. If anyone has any leads or is interested selling theirs, please send me a private message.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion. I previously posted in the classifieds and for that reason I'm not bumping this thread often. I am still looking for OEM E55 wheels across many websites (craigslist, eBay, etc.) and many owners who have them don't regularly check the classifieds for wanted ads. In fact the majority is responses came from this post in the W211 forum and not the one in the classifieds.
If anyone has one or more wheels in good condition please send a private message.
Thank you.

I too am looking for 19" IVs with E55 offsets. They seem impossible to find. The SL65 wheels are not the correct offsets though some people do run them.
Let me know what you find - I am more than willing to have wheels refinished - so if you pass over some that are not mint please shoot me a message.

You probably will want to find a set that does not need reconditioning. The Sterling Silver 9709 finish cannot be duplicated in the aftermarket and the materials are only supplied to tier-one OE manufacturers (in the case of the Type IV wheels they were made by Cromodora S.p.A and AAG). Unless you have low standards, refinished wheels will not look correct and it is immediately obvious even when skilled wheel repair experts attempt it.

Still looking for W211 E55 wheels. Its fascinating that W220, W219, W230 versions of these wheels are widely available but the W211 version seems to be much less common. If anyone has a set in excellent condition please let me know.
Thank you.
Thank you.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I think you'd....
Be much happier investing all this time and money into some other wheel. Frankly, thread wheels are heavy, not very round, and the OE finish is horrible.. They are not even fully finished all the way to the bolt hole. You can do so, so much better than this, especially for that money. Oh and BTW, most of these are made by Ronal, which is certainly not a bad product, but nothing like the ridiculous money these cost.
