Lol they're coming but I need to run back over the car again with swirl remover and polish a few more times to get that perfect look. Paint has to cure a little more(kinda scared of damaging new clear). I'm my own worst critic but its there though

Really cool thing about the "ice" pearls is it isn't traditional where say "flakes" always show in your paint. The car still remains solid black until its hit with the right light & temperature. I think it keeps it a little more refined than a loud flakey paint job.

^^ Those damn swirls! >.< lol seeing them is the equivalent & nails across a chalk board to me

Btw unless you put one in, your car lacking a LSD in the rear could be why you're not seeing even burnout patterns.
I definitely am debating the LSD, I found it weird the side with more negative camber laid a better strip. If I can still manage a 1.8 to 2.0 60ft, I'll leave it be until I can make some demanding type torque.

Thank you guys, glad I could get that nod of approval I didn't want to offend that AMG badge. I'm hoping to locking in on some headers here shortly.

JEEEESUUUUUUSSS CHRISTT!!!! OMG!!!!!

That is pure SEX, just SEX!!! That car is simply stunning!!!! Those wider fenders just give the car so much better stance and the wheels, simply ASTONISHING!!! I know you custom stretch the fenders but can you give more detail on how hard it was and how much work and skill is required. I'm telling you buddy I hardly get impressed with people's combos and setups but your is just EPIC!!!!

Thanks on the compliments! Extremely grateful and appreciative to see others finding it on the attractive side.

As far as the fender work. I won't even sit here and sell you wolf cookies, there's about 7 hours of labor into them, which isn't too bad. This was even a 1st for all of us. I obviously am not as experienced as the next guy was in certain areas & he had a pretty good eye for how much to pull, which a majority of it can be accomplished with your standard roller. The finessing of the quarters is probably the most time consuming. Pretty much a hammer & mallet affair. Having the wheels there is essential, you basically are making them fit around the tires. We were lucky enough to not have to cut & re-weld. Either way is fine, its all about what the tech is comfortable with.

Any compitent body shop with a motivated body tech kind of "hip" to the idea of the stretch and pull should be more than eager to accomplish something like this for around $2500 with the paint work and all. Hopefully I can test out some designs on some spare fenders here soon, pretty much a matching set to the black series 63 front fenders. I don't really see a set for sale aftermarket wise

I just want her to stay put together for me, I love driving this thing haha

man that paint looks amazing! I cant wait to see it once it finishes curing and you can do a full detail on it. I wish i had the ball to do something like this to my E lol. some more aggressive front fenders would be awesome too, im surprised there isnt a company out there making a BS set for our cars, im sure a lot of people would be interested in them.

Much appreciated! I've been enjoying her, finally got the swirls out of the paint lol still need to re-shoot the vehicle though. As far as kits go. You guys said the word and let just go ahead and create our own "Liberty Walk W210/211's" I'll get the pieces together to get the molds going How cool would that be?

Last few I had laying around:

OK that's it, I'm reporting you to the authorities. There must me some law against a vehicle being that sexy That thing is too distracting on the road, it will cause accidents because people will be breaking their necks at the wheel

Hahahaha

I've had her drive before so I could watch, but never aimlessly for 40 minutes.

Sorry I couldn't help you sooner, just saw this thread. Looks like you have it handled. Your car looks look!

I have my rears flared Roughly 1.5" to fit 20X12 but I changed to 20X11.5 on 305-25-20 for a better "fitment" without camber for better handling. Also got tired of the huge lip and went with a more conservative lip.
