I want to replace my '5.5 AMG' badge back to the orignal one, anyone have a brand new set they want to part with or know who has the best prices for a set.

+1 !!! The aftermarket ones are NOT the same!

 

I dont understand what makes them "not real" Because all the letters don't line up perfectly?
This is why i went with the 5.5 badge after i painted my car from the accident. I didnt want to be stuck getting the letters to align.

The OEM manufacturer of the v8 kompressor badges is made in China. They are also the same manufacturer who makes the 6.3 AMG badge who in turn made the 5.5 badge for FOLEX back in the day.

 

They're close but they're not the same size or font. The average person won't know but you might get funny looks from those that do.

 

I have some, let me check to see they are all there and you can have them.
