Not trying to resurrect a dead thread but planning on changing plugs and wires, saw the link toadster had on amazon and was curious if i needed to order them custom due to the length or the link on amazon works?

just bought s set of the ngk lfr7aix 2309 and after installation all 16 have a closed gap, damage and broken pieces from every plug. Is there a way this car could have different heads on it?

Hey guys so I'm doing plugs and wires on my 06 mercedes cls500 with the m113 motor and I'm wondering if the ngk lfr7aix plugs will work for me or not and I've already bought the magnecore wires to go with these as well. Reason I ask is because I'm in the middle of doing the job and pull the first plug and it's way shorter than the new one and just trying to make sure I'm not going to screw my motor up by installing these please someone let me know asap plz

I would make sure the spark plugs you are installing are indeed the right ones. Installing a spark plug which is too long would make for a very bad day, and most likely an engine rebuild. I am sure that if you take a picture of the old and new plugs, and measure the distance from the seat to the end of the threads, someone here will chime in and will be able to figure out which one is correct.
