NEW TO AMG WORLD 06 E55 AMG
All,
Whats going on MB forums, I just got a 2006 E55 AMG & I'm loving it.Had it for about a week.High milage but its a 1 owner car & all services records.Looking todo a service on the car Plugs,Wires,oil..etc Can someone give me some tips on some of the basic things that need to be done/Replaced on these cars?
O YEAH LOOKing for AMG Specialist in my area for good affordable work...
Looking for Wheel Sets also..

I suggest you spend a few evenings using the search function getting to know some of the common problems, plus the easy and most cost effective modifications to do to your car, as well as some features you might not have known your car had. Hi and welcome! We can definitely shoot you some suggestions on maintenance/parts coming up but need to know what previous maintenance it's already had and mileage. If it's been maintained properly, I wouldn't worry about the drivetrain, it's solid. Your SBC pump is covered for one more year, so as long as your suspension is good, you should be good for awhile!

Thanks man, i think the suspension is good. the car has 120k on it, it has been serviced at the dealer up to 100k. its running well also ( Smoked a few M5 & M3 & Srt 8) already. lol just some small stuff like valve cover gasket need to be replaced, Plugs wires, Belts... thinking about upgrading to a Bigger AUX pump so no SC cut off.

Welcome and 120K is not bad, if the car stayed stock and serviced. You may want to check your records and see that the tranny has been serviced, as some models can blow oil up the harness into the control module.

Thanks, i will look into it.
Also i have been running the car hard just testing it out had the SC cut off on me few times/Does that mean i need a new Aux pump?

Two Torque Monsters...E55/Viper
Likely the IC Pump is bad, or you are getting a lot of heat depending how hard you are running it. Search on the "Split Cooling" Mod as well.
