New parts from Shardul

Gotta fun night ahead installing new parts from Shardul! After installing a MKB 180mm Crank Pulley a couple of weeks ago I have been keeping myself busy with a few cosmetic mods and new Arnotts rear shocks and bushes while waiting for these remaining parts...

Besides the increased longevity of metal vs. plastic pulleys, does the pulley kit provide any other benefits?

Besides looking good? Yeah it's a bit of preventative maintenance - avoids any possibility the plastic pulleys might shatter/explode under pressure and the higher I climb up the boost scale the more pressure I put on em. I'm just prepping for the return of my 84mm SC Pulley Also I would think the the reliability of plastic lessens as it ages and becomes more brittle? So I guess the benefits include longevity, reliability and aesthetics!

Very jealous of those nice shiny bits. I was looking for the exact same kit myself, but finances said bugger off. Looks great! Nothing better than installing upgraded bits yourself at night.

Yeah that's the plan but want to make sure she's ready for it. Aside from injectors and split cooling will go for a killa chilla also me thinks.

Looking good, The The Rapist.
Changing those pulleys is a smart thing to do. I had my plastic one do exactly what you described. It exploded and took out both belts with it.

Why are you opting to not go with a heat exchange?

The thought is it's not needed, best case scenario it just warms the IATs closer to ambient while the KC alone gets them much cooler than ambient leaving the HE on becomes a "warmer" source of cooling. It's smart to leave it on if you live in cold climates since you won't want to run your KC in near freezing ambient temps. But I live in the SF Bay Area never cold enough to need it.

I'll be very interested to hear how that goes. Be sure to post your results.
