Based on that video, I can see why the dealer gets big bucks for this. (not to mention the cost of the struts)

That video is probably the technically correct way of swaping these over....

You dont need to go that route if your chucking the old airbags anyway and using arnott's. You simply cut the line that goes to the external reservoir and remove the airbag without really removing anything other than maybe unbolting the shock and maybe the lower arms at one end. It really is not difficult at all.

I even managed to sneak those factory reservoirs out of the subframe without undoing anything in their at all... of course the rubber hose was cut going back to the airbag.

And yeah that crimping ring failure on the pic posted is a bummer.... Hope mine dont do that.
