If anyone is interested I have sourced upgrade kits for the W211 E55 that consist of;

Please give us details as to anticipated costs and power gains. Also, is software required?

less than $2000USD including shipping. Software would be an additional $1500USD.
My car saw a power increase of 35kw at the rear wheels without the pulley. I will have it re-dynoed ASAP on the original dyno all the other work was done on for a final answer, but seat of pants, the performance increase of the pulley is even greater than the original mods.
On a road outside a friends business in an industrial estate, I had the car spinning into fourth gear! I backed off only because there were cars on either side of the road, the car was still crossed up and I was moving at an extreme rate of knots. Bottom line, I chickened out!!

Great. Thanks for the info. As all of us maniacs know, there's no such thing as too fast. Oh, small anecdote. Last night I'm driving home from the gym and stuck behind two cars doing 40 where they could do 55. I wait a long time to pass and finally I get a very short passing zone. I say what the heck and nail it. It was just OVER. If I still can't believe just how quick this big sedan is, I can just imagine how shocked they were.

I am not in the business of perfformance tuning, just worked out for myself how to get cost effective performance upgrades for my car that actually work. I was originally quoted around 12K for a Carlsson upgrade and 20K for a Brabus upgrade that don't produce as good a result.

So I guess biking season is over, Stephens? Welcome back to the mundane world of hot-rod sedans.

Only for another month! The bike is in the shop at the moment having the engine blueprinted, crank lightened and balanced, heads gas flowed and 13.5 to 1 race pistons installed!

Nice ride down the New York State Thruway this morning to the Palisades mall. Rare to have the hammer lane pretty much clear except for a few of us cruising along 85-100. Not a cop around according to my detector.

Stephens, were your mods sourced in Australia or elsewhere?

Any negatives in normal running?

Everything is sourced in Australia. From what Ben at Evosport posted, they intend to release something similar early next year. I can organise shipping Internationally and fitting in Australia, but if you are near them suggest you give them a call, if their pricing is good, they can also do the fitting and seem to know what they are doing.

I personally don't think there would be any issues, some may argue otherwise.
