mr. moly or molyslip for engine and transmission

hi,

I am still in search of a good amg mechanic in upstate NY area. I found one that came highly recommended (not focused on AMG but generally very good mechanic).

After talking to him for changing my transmission and engine oils as well as brake fluids, he recommended adding mr. moly or molyslip additives for engine and the transmission. he said mr. moly reduces the cold start friction and molyslip reduced the slippage on the transmission.

does any one have any experience or have used any of these products? any info is appreciated.

thanks in advance for all your help.

He's just trying to up-sell you on useless additives. Stick with the recommended fluids.
