A J Brutus

My E55 spins up but wont ignite, I changed the CAS and the right hand fuel pump (going) on common failures. I put a volt meter on the right pump (2 connectors) across blue/red and brown wire and the meter jumps to 11V for a fraction of a second then no voltage. The relay was bench checked with a 12V batter and is good the fuses are good.

i've read sensors can shut the fuel pumps down..? any body have a good idea because without STAR I'm all out.
