Are they the same wheels off the r231 SL65? If so, I may be able to try them on from my dads car and see

E55 AMG (W211)
These whells will fit mechanically.
In the front with 25mm spacers ans 265/35/20
In the rear with 30mm spacers and 295/25/20 or 295/30/20.

BUT they will never fit with their load!!
The E55 has a maximum load of 1165kg (about 2570lbs) on the front axle, and 1240kg (about 2730lbs) on the rear axle.
These rims are load approved for only 565kg (1245lbs) per wheels.
so:
- in the front, you have to lighten the car for about 35kg (=80lbs) -> maybe possible
- in the rear, you have to lighten the car for about 120kg (=240kg) -> no luggage, no rear seats!!!

basically if you're going for the style of wheels bramage posted, then there you go. If you want the wheels that come with the r231 as well as the sls, then the r231 wheels should hold better since the 231 weighs in a little more than our cars

There is load limitation for rims !? Never heard of that. How do you know the value of the maximum weight they can get ?

Yes! Of course!!
Elsewise it would be possible to make passenger car rims on a Mercedes Actros truck.

I know these limitations, because I wanted to put SLS rims on my E55.

Everyone can read here: https://asp.mercedes-amg.com/certdocs
Take the German language, and you can see all certification documents to all AMG-rims.
