All it takes is "POWER" and driving skill. I can imagine what the Hellcat people will be saying once those cars are on the road and they can be "Beaten too" .
Thanks!! You said it best "driver skill". and yes anything can be beaten

Thanks brotha! It will be at MIR in Nov.
Quote: Was the V a manual or auto?
If the car truly had a cam, he should have been making close to 600rwhp and his mph was a bit light.

Nice kill though!
thanks brotha! Not sure on man or auto. and he said it had over 600whp.

I haven't been on this forum much lately and I come on and see this...wow that's cool. You should have this thing seriously running hard soon after more dialing in...I mean it is running strong now! Engine compartment looks cool too! I will keep checking on the progression of times with the colder weather and more dialing.

The V had to be a stick as they don't get down the track too well with 6 spd tranny's and his mph would have put him in the 11.0 range maybe 10.90s with good traction and an auto. One guy said he had plastic tires! lmao... Looks like he brought a knife to a gun fight!

Congrats RBJ and I will def. be in Fla this winter and more then likely bring my car with me and have some fun!

60nomad is good dude. Loves to race and seems to realize there are always faster cars but he races them too.

RBJ had the V covered throughout the run. The only way it would have been close is if the V had drag radials and cut a PERFECT light. But he probably would have lost anyways. RBJ had MPH on him the whole run. I bet the V owner is purchasing more go fast parts as I type. lol

Thanks but it is natural, normal reaction...I love to race and I don't care who owns what car, where they are from etc. I have lost so many times this year that it is laughable but against some serious rides. I don't pick on cars that I know I will beat. RBJ is a cool dude and his ride is running awesome and will dial in incredibly I am sure. I am also sure we will meet this winter down in Fla.

Thanks HR. You must agree that the V had to be a stick...no? ...and RBJ had pretty big MPH on him either way. Imagine if the V didn't spin? His MPH might have been 124mph!

I believe the V was man, but not positive. His run before mine was 11.1. So who knows what happened. But thanks! Look forward to seeing you in SoFlo.

The V did have DRs. He would have still lost. I saw his other runs. I never talked to him. It was a friend that told me what he said and wanted to do. Thank you though. I always have fun at the track. Win, loose or draw!

Not sure on the manual or not. I watched the video a couple more times and it looked like a pretty good pause between 1st and 2nd so I would guess a manual transmission.

CTSV had a very poor 60' especially if it was on drag radials. I run better 60's on street tires than that guy did on drag radials. And I have both a manual and auto. Plus the V gave up over 1/2 second on his reaction. The V would gain a ton with a driver mod but the MPH says it all, he doesn't have near the power of the turbo Benz.

RBJ, What convertor are you running? Curious because I would think you should be seeing a better 60' with that power.
I know the Cadillac turbo cars seem to have a poor 60' and some are spraying them at launch to get them through the lag area of the power band.

I'm on a 3000 stall. But it pushes through the brakes at 2500.
