Wow good looking, cheaper and as quick as an AMG

From the article: "The 0-60 times are close with the E63 edging out the Hellcat by .2 seconds"

Do you think they had AMG clearly in their sights when bringing this car to market?
I don't foresee anyone really cross shopping between these cars (new for new anyway); after all one is a roided up blue collar sedan versus the other being upper management with a heart of pure evil.
I agree. One of the things I hate most is how almost all manufacturers have ceased giving cars real names and are just doing the "me too" alphabet soup labels. Zero personality anymore.

Not bashing you at all (and not saying you believe this) but the "money is no object, I want the best" argument is just plain ridiculous.
Good choice. I've been seeing them creeping into the $60's now.
The CPO S models that have the preferable color/option choices are still in the $70's.
Wait until December though

Then BAG Man sell me your current wheels....LOL.
The fully modded/sorted Weistec car in the low $80's is the freaking steal of the millennium.
Come on LOTTO

Value is personal.
If I was spending $60K, I'll take a used E63 over a new Charger SRT.
Sure it will already have 30K miles or so, but which would resell for more?
A Dodge with 90K or a MB with 120K
Hope I am wrong!

I just wouldn't be happy driving a challenger with the Rubbermaid interior and seeing the cost cuts everywhere. I've been spoiled by the Germans and there attention to detail. If I wanted a domestic fast coupe, sedan or wagon it would be a cts-v. Better handling, better interior, $20-30k less in the used market and the option for a 3rd pedal in a sedan. Me personally, used 63 BiTurbo. Hell, I'd still rather have a clean 10 year old E55
