intercooler pump install with question
So I just installed the upgraded Bosch 010 pump. I thought all 06 E55's had the upgraded pump already but I was wrong. Anyway while installing I noticed a small heat exchanger/radiator behind the IC pump that has a small fan mounted to it. After installing the IC pump I bled the system and started my car. This fan never came on even after letting the car idle for 15 minutes. My main radiator fan did. Is this little HE for the IC circuit? What controls that fan is it a fuse or a relay? I have the PDF downloaded that shows what all the fuses and relays are for and didn't see anything that seem to belong to that little fan. Any ideas guys? Im sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime in with the answer. Thanks in advance.

It's either oil or trans cooler. The one with the fan is behind the passenger foglight and the other is under the intercooler in later model years. I can't ever keep them straight.

OMG what a difference the new pump makes. she pulls harder, my IAT are now running on average 15 over ambient and overall she just feels better. best $100 ive spent on her so far.
