My auto tilt sunroof open/close doesn't work. I have to open the sunroof in order to close from tilt, anyone know the issue?

I have to reset mine whenever I disconnect the battery. I have to open it all the way by continually pressing back. Then, once it is all the way open, push and hold the button forward and keep holding. It will close, then tilt open. Keep holding it for 5 seconds or more after it tilts open, then you should be able to pull the button down to close the tilt. Auto open/close should work, too.
