Mirror adjusting
Hey guys,
My car is equipped with the memory package etc', all works fine but the mirrors getting on my nerve.
My wife has memory #1 and I'm using #2.
Problem is sometimes after reversing the mirror won't return to the same spot as in the memory, sometimes even while I'm pressing the memory #2 it won't go to my spot.
Can anyone explain me how to store the mirror position properly in the memory?
Also,after my wife driving the car, only way to change to my position is by a long press on #2?
Another thing, what is the key dependent feature?
It set to off in my car.
Last thing, I noticed my key bottons aren't working, means I cannot remote unlock/lock the car or open the trunk, can only open it using keyless entry.
Anything need to set?

As far as I know, holding the button to change back to your settings is how it works? I wish it were like my wife's Jeep were you just press the button once and it does it's thing.

I am having a somewhat similar problem, except mine is that now when I go into reverse, the mirrors no longer angle down. I have gone thru the dash options do disable and re-enable it, but that doesnt seem to work.

Make sure the mirror switch is set to the passenger side mirror. Selecting the driver side mirror disables the reverse function.

I'm having the same problem too so it may just be a common thing as our cars show some age. HeissRod is correct about the button. You do have to hold it down until all the adjustments have been completed or it will stop at the point that you let go.

Don't you guys have an owners manual?
Your key can set everything for you
Your wifes key can set everything for her
seats, mirrors, radio stations, ect.
I don't think any of you have a problem, that 30 minutes set up time in the car with owners manual cold not fix.

I'm not having a problem working everything. My mirrors just don't seem to go back to the exact location that I saved them. Somehow they are always a little bit lower so I have to tilt them up just a tiny bit more each time I use my preset button.
