When I turn my heat on, the side vents get hotter than the two center ones and yes i made sure the middle scroll knob doesn't show blue. Do these cars have heater control valve, if so then that's probably my issue

viking did you get a PPI when you purchased the E55 ? seems like you have all the common issues of this car all within a few weeks. You might want to check to see if you have the gas smell after fueling up the car. Once you get all the fixes, enjoy the car.

I'm a dealer and I bought this car from the auction as a trade in on Lexus. Two owner car from Texas, it's overall mint, everything you can think of is pretty much new either from the previous owner or me. Both the fuel sender, fuel pumps, charcoal canister shut off valve, power steering o-ring, all new belts, valve cover gasket, plugs, wires, front arnott air shocks, brakes all around, tires are all around. All filters, vacuum lines. Just got the big intercooler with Johnson pump, so I'll get the heater control valve since its the perfect time to do.

First Benz?
Cool fresh air is what comes out of center vents, even in heat mode, like all MBs.

I've owned I think 2 other ones in the past, most all European cars have the cool vent in the middle but once you close it, it should blow heat. My center heat is cool/warm while the sides are definitely hot air
