Remove the supercharger belt and see if the sound stays. If it goes away I would start spinning the pulleys and feeling any inconsistencies with the bearings.

It sounds like a pulley. You can run the engine safely without the supercharger belt. I would do a cold start and let it idle for a minute or so. Inspecting hot pulleys is not fun. My guess is a supercharger pulley bearing is dry or worn out. OEM ones are not the best. I would reccomend the ASP idler set.

The supercharger is not always engages. If the chirp is only happening when yu step on it, that means it's a pulley.

That's not a noise made by a belt
Let the car get cold then restart without the belt, if the noise is still there then it's on the aux belt side

Sorry I said aux I should have said accessory
When I had that sound it ended up being the accessory belt tensioner
Make your car get cold(over night) and start it without the sc belt and let's see

With the car cold, if you start it and the sound is no longer there then it's the sc pulley, or idlers, if the sound is still there most likely the accessory tensioner pulley

Hulk is right.

We can make this simple. On supercharged cars, you should consider failing pulleys like oil changes and brakes. It's simply a matter of use. That cold chirp almost always comes down to the tensioner and idler pulleys. If your car has never had them done, I would replace all of them at this stage in the game. You can do them one at a time, but that just wastes time and money. Make sure it's not your crank pulley (MB term Harmonic Balancer). When those start to wobble, belts rub, causing the cold chirp.

The chirp when you hit the gas is likely a separate noise. My guess is you need tensioner and idler pulleys for the cold start noise, and a supercharger bearing for the other chirp. I've heard Eurocharged dealers complain about their pulleys, so I wouldn't rule that out. Sorry. But the procedure Hulk describes is the way to go about it.

I've had all those symptoms (except the supercharger chirp) on mine, and that's how I've always seen my mechanics get to the bottom of it. Remove this belt (supercharger) and that belt (accessory drive) to see if the noise remains, and that's how you isolate the pulleys. Good luck.

There's an idler pulley down near the ABC pump... Driver's side of the fans, midway up the front fascia. It's hidden from top view, which is why you can hear it but not see it. You can find pictures of the engine on the web or on this site, if you haven't already.

Cheers,

maw
