new issue with the car

had the fuel pumps replaced last month, then headlight control unit, now as i got in the car this afternoon after driving it for a bit the engine just turns and turns - sounds like it did when the fuel pumps died.

Sent a text to my mechanic and he mentioned the crank position sensor could be next - says its the same symptoms as when pumps fail - anyone have experience with this and how much to replace?

I know the car is pissed at me as she knows as soon as the wife's GL arrives the 55 will be going to a new home -

Let the car cool down with the hood open for about 30 min and try to start it, if it starts most likely like forrest said, cps

I would have him check the fuel pump relay as well, I've replaced half a dozen with burnt connectors at the relay from the pump running to much amperage. It will cause the same problem/symptom as a bad fuel pump/crank sensor.
