Hi guys, I'm still contemplating if I should mod my car or not because im still under warranty. I would say I'm pretty novice in the tuning world so bear with me.
Just a very basic question to those that have done the following mod and the outcomes that were reached.
1) Has anyone done only a EUROCHARGED ECU TUNE. No other mods.
2) Did you notice any difference in hp, torque, or throttle response?
3) Did you need cooling or did you get cooling? Can this mod be done without additional cooling?
4) Is the tune detectable?
5) Anyone have EasyCare warranty and have had this tune done?
6) Also the noobest question of all, can this pose any severe engine damage? Blown motor/transmission?
Appreciate it guys.

.
2) Not tried yet but definitely will feel the difference.
3) Depend on your mod level, if you go for tuning without mods then no need for additional cooling.
4) I think yes it is detectable.
5) Mine is already out of warranty but normally the tuning contradict with the warranty conditions unless the tuning company has a contract agreement with the manufacture.
6) If you use the correct mod and tune no damages should happen.

1) Yes, see sig
2) Yes
3a) I got cooling before the tune, but that does not add power.
3b) Yes, it can.
4) Not sure
5) Not I
6) If not done right, a tune can hurt a car.

2- Yes, will be night and day
3- If you are just doing tuning, no need to adjust cooling.
4- Yes, but with our euroflash software you can flash to stock for dealer visits
5- We have never run into a dealer issue yet with any of our tunes. Plus with the option of going back to stock flash, dealer will not see the tune.
6- Yes any tuning can cause issues. That's also why we have one of the best warranties in the market. We protect the motor for up to $50k if issues are caused by our tuning.

17000 miles and counting with only EC ECU tune and K&N filters. The best investment i´ve done for the car. It was totally transformed in power and driveability, simply an animal. Much smoother power development over the whole range.

yes did it before all the other mods
2) Did you notice any difference in hp, torque, or throttle response?
yes, not super impressive but yes
3) Did you need cooling or did you get cooling? Can this mod be done without additional cooling?
no don't need but you should ... sometimes back to back to back pulls can cut off the supercharger...that's a **** off if you racing someone.
4) Is the tune detectable?
it is if they want to find it but I doubt anyone will notice
5) Anyone have EasyCare warranty and have had this tune done?
no idea
6) Also the noobest question of all, can this pose any severe engine damage? Blown motor/transmission?
if you get ec tune I doubt anything will happen. if it did .. it just your car
Appreciate it guys.

No additional cooling required, the boos level is still at stock levels.
4) Is the tune detectable?
For smog or warranty purpose?

I have no concerns of motor or tranny damage as a result of a tune.
Appreciate it guys.

Smog is not an issue.
Warranty I don't see being one unless the dealer looked for it. For instance you go to the dealer for a blown strut I don't see it being an issue. You go in for a blown motor and I am sure they would find that tune and deny the claim.
Have Eurocharged send you a cable and a tune by email, you will enjoy it!

Warranties don't cross my mind when I modify a car. If you are concerned about warranties just keep it stock.

I know man but the warranty thing is a *****. I know for sure they will specifically look for that pulley. What pulley do you recommend that is most safe? 168mm supercharger pulley?
