Arrow Interesting Find... W211 E55 Front Upper Strut Bar and more?

Ultra Racing... Pretty good brand out there. My bro has these all over his '08 Accord (his car is still for sale by the way). I must say... the welds and quality are pretty good.

I randomly came across these pictures and didn't realize that there was a such thing for a W211 E55.

Anyone using it? Or know anyone that has it?

And to answer your thought... no, I'm don't plan on buying them. Just thought I'd share a random find. (That's unless someone can explain substantial benefits of having them specifically on our heavy cars.)

Not sure if this is anyone's car here on the forum.

Front Upper Strut Bar - $161.76
Part #: URKR-TW2-2678

Front Member Brace - $128.84
Part #: UR-LA2-1483

Front Member Brace 2 - $216.31
Part #: UR-LA4-1484

Middle Member Brace - $144.83
Part #: UR-ML2-1485

Intrested in the heatsink on the supercharger? Am I seeing that right or am I dreaming??

Those are only worthwhile if your serious about tracking the car obviously. Personally I doubt it would make a massive difference. The top strut brace maybe the bottom ones sod all I reckon. I own a nissan pulsar which has no cross bracing between the lower control arm mounts unlike the e55 which has an entire subframe. So yeah im calling BS on the lower subframe bracings doing stuff all. Not a major noticeable difference like my JDM GTIR which has literally nothing binding in between the control arms.

Nice to know somebody does this though. Jeez I wan to know about the heatsink though. This guy must be thrashing the **** out of this car!

The lower braces would do wonders for "Creaky" pano roofs. The top bar I'm not sure about, but the chassis does flex a lot as the pano will tell you. Especially as these cars get older. I think it would be a great investment to simply keep things tight.

That heat sink doesn't look like it fits at all. Looks like it's just set on top of the s/c.

Useless crap for ricer kids to buy. Good for transfer of mass from wallet to chassis

Front upper bar looks promising on this heavy pig just to make the steering feel a little more predictable

The rest will most likely not do anything

upper strut bar would seem to be something that may help the 55 imo. Maybe tighten up the suspension a bit?

I think the "upper strut bar" may help and the one I would do.

Im interested in knowing more about that giant heat exchanger. I always wondered why nobody runs taller heat exchangers?

I have had the upper strut brace for a while now. Anything has to help when coil overs are installed.

No, look closer, you will see 2 big allen bolts, They are bolted to the top of the supercharger.

bone stock E55 AMG
if build quality is there, then it'll definitely stiffen up the suspension...

I bought it directly off eBay and was shipped from Malaysia, where they are located.

stuff looks nice, but with the air ride suspension it will still feel loose when your doing 100mph. IMO. it won't be planted to the ground like you would with coilovers
