I still have oem throttle body kponti. I've been driving around today after I reset the code. and no issues so far I will keep running around to see if anything happens will keep you posted.

P0106 is the MAP sensor code. When it hit this "limp" mode, did it happen while you were really on it, or just while cruising? Sounds an awful lot like the hiccup. You'd be the first I've heard of getting it on the stock TB.

the first hiccup was right after I installed the tune. as I was driving out of my drive way it went into limp mode. got code P0105 and a couple other codes had to do with the removal of the primary cats. Got it back in the garage and reset all codes. Took it right back out all was good for a day.Seconds day took it right back out headed to my buddy Tim to do some street runs and log it. On the way up there went into limp mode. Got code P0106 reset it all was good again. as Tim stated earlier the thing is a beast. Now I've been driving around for a couple days and everything seems to be ok for now. not sure what the deal is.

All this with a stock TB huh.... Can you check your throttle body to rubber y snorkel connection? is it all they way snapped in?
Have you taken out the airboxes w/ Y-pipe in the last few weeks/months for anything like spark plug replacement etc etc?

Hmm sounds like my issue too. Except for mine and all other 82mm TBs out there (non AMG), there is no solution unless you make one, the original design leaves a lot to be desired. I did and so far so good but like I said, I do not have enough miles under my belt yet

Just an update. Got a hold of Tony at BIP. He suggested to go into Star and reset the default initalization this should take care of the limp mode situation. So far so good.I will drive it around for a couple days and see what happens. Keeping fingers crossed.
