How to open trunk with dead battery?
I can't open the trunk, the battery is flat. The doors are open but the trunk isn't. I tried the little key in so many different directions and ways but it just doesn't open the trunk. I tried counter clockwise, clockwise, while pulling the lever, twisting then pulling the level etc but I honestly cannot get it open. What a poor poor design.

You should have a battery junction block under your passenger floorboard. You can jump or charge battery through that junction.

I just did this yesterday morning. I just kept playing with the key and squeezing the level at the same time, and it popped open after a minute. Make sure to push in all the way with key.

Thanks guys, the problem was I was turning it counter clockwise like all the forums suggested but I turned it clockwise while pulling the lever a little harder and it WORKED!!!! Thanks again.
