Do the ones who have it installed any numbers to compare stock with this one in terms of temperature differences?

Interested also Shardul. So, I presume no drilling required? Anyone have pics of this with E63 bumper?

Can someone explain, with their actual numbers, the advantage of this heat exchanger?

I asked twice already. Nobody answered about the actual temperature difference they have for the IAT. If you don't know the before and after numbers, what does it do for you?

Before installing it my IATs hovered around 25-30 degrees above ambient, afterwards I see 15-20 above ambient. These are crusing on the freeway numbers in 85-95 degree heat running an 80mm FSP. The only change was installing this HE. Also recovery times are drastically improved but I did not log any of that so I don't have any numbers tho throw out.

There's something wrong with your car then. With stock setup on my CLS55, I'm running IAT of 10f over ambient (85f) in high Florida humidity mid-summer with the newer Bosch 010 pump installed.

I'll add for reference: Engine temp is 190-195f. and transmission sits at 175-180f.

0-80 pull at nearly full throttle sends my IAT up to 102-105, and in 30 seconds its back into 95~f range, and then a minute later 90~f (coming off STAR monitoring).

I think my pump is really broken. I read my AIT and I had 160 degrees C accelerating (not flooring it or anything) and around 140 degrees C driving around 70 mph.

It's fried. I wasn't paying attention to mine and found out it died with no warning, and no errors (and I'm not very hard on my car). Pick up the 010 Bosch from Autohaus -- $114 shipped. Make sure you have two gallons of coolant. I ended up getting way more out than I originally thought I would (though, I let it drain because I wanted to flush the coolant), and be prepared to bleed the air out of the system. Do it cold if you can so you don't crack the block.

IAT shouldn't ever be above 100f except after a pull.

With a stock pulley set up mine was the same way, never more that 12 over ambient. The fixed pulley runs a lot hotter than the clutched pulleys do though.

Are your HEs plug and play or does it require to drill holes? What’s the price plus shipping?

Plug and play no drilling required.
We don't charge shipping in the USA on majority of out items.

I’ll keep reading here. Once you know you have a final price I’ll make a decision.

No drilling sounds good to me though!

I bought one from Shardul a few months ago. Very easy to install. There are some great instructions by bbirdwell and I added a couple of pointers as well from my experience but not having to drill anything or worry about the oil cooler definitely makes this a great choice.
