Quote: I bought one from Shardul a few months ago. Very easy to install. There are some great instructions by bbirdwell and I added a couple of pointers as well from my experience but not having to drill anything or worry about the oil cooler definitely makes this a great choice.
noticeable increase of power? 20-30 HP more?

It is more of a supporting mod rather than a power adder. If you compare with a stock cooling system it won't make much of a noticeable difference while the car is cool. However once you get on it, it will shorten your cool down time significantly between runs, keep your intake air temps lower for longer during the run (ie help ward off heat soak) and people have logged lower IAT's while cruising which will actually add a small amount of power. Basically it allows you to make a lot more reliable power when you start adding other mods- pullies etc. It was my first proper mod after replacing my intercooler pump with an 010.

Ok. I‘m not going to drag races with the car. I have a smaller pulley, bigger TB, and a Black Series Pump put in, ME and TCU tune too. I might add long tube headers this year but I’m not certain. 65 mph speed limit is just the biggest problem we have here. We all
reach 70 mph in seconds. What can we really accomplish anymore?

If you are on the stock heat exchanger, I would definitely upgrade it. You don't have any easy mods left to go so you are reaching the limits of what is relatively easy, cheap and reliable. Lets face it, none of us needed to upgrade anything ever considering what we started with

I'm in for one, had one, sold it when I thought I was going to sell or donate the car. Then engine issue, rebuilt motor, so figure I keep it for now. Add me to the list.

I’ll keep reading here. Once you know you have a final price I’ll make a decision.

No drilling sounds good to me though!
There is not one HE on the market that requires drilling. Many, including ours include self tapping screws, and its even easier than "Plug and play"

So the oil cooler attaches to the heat exchanger with self tapping screws?

I have seen the install to the bumper bar with self tapping screws. It isn't pretty. Not what I would call a tidy secure install and not everyone wants to put holes in the safety structure of their car.

There are much better pumps out there. Just because tuners like to resell these pumps for a lot of money doesn’t mean they are good.

010 seems to perform better than most other pumps with a heat exchanger only situation. Yes there are higher flowing and higher pressure pumps out there but I have yet to see one perform significantly better in this situation. Sure throw in a tank or secondary exchanger and it is a different story. You can get them for $110 on sale so not exactly a huge spend for a drop in pump.
