How do you remove W211 non folding rear seats? I know how to remove the bench (horizontal part) but the backrest I'm confused with. I removed the 3 bolts which connect the backrest to the floor and I also removed the middle seat belt from the floor. It isn't coming out easily though and I am not willing to experiment by pulling or twisting and then breaking something. Has anybody removed their non folding rear seats?

There are hooks on the top. The seat has to be lifted straight up. It is tuff but don't worry about braking anything. It won't break. They are metal.

Sure thing, I'll do that before I put them back. Are yours heated though because mine are NOT heated and also non folding.
