Not in a hurry to sell so it might be around a while. I want to do big turbos with a built trans and ABC delete to shave off weight and get more apace under the hood. I will hold off on further modding for a while, we will see what happens in a few weeks.

I am truly stunned you haven't sold this beast for this crazy price. Are you sure you've advertised it enough and in the right places because I'm gobsmacked. WTF?!!

I have some interest but nothing solid, I have a few guys that want the car but want me to wait till they get funds together. I don't mind waiting but can't take the car off the market.

Why would they need time to get that much money together? I hate when people do that. I'm selling my E55 and for the past few months you have no idea how many retards said that to me. I'm thinking "if you don't have the money ready, why bother?"

LOL Why don't you buy it. I heard they gonna relax the import laws or something. It's probably a long way away though with little change.

They are BAD On top of that, to add insult to injury, you can't even import a car unless you've owned it for at least a year overseas. By the time you get it here, you'll pay double for what you would here. It's deliberately done so people have no choice but to pay the outrageous prices for cars. If you want a used 09 Camaro here for example you'll have to pay ~$85k. That's the cheapest one mind you. That's a used one, already imported by someone else and converted to RHD. A GT500 will run you over ~$140k. An F150 pickup will run you over $100k. A Toyota Tundra is over $100k as well. If you don't like it you can buy a truck made for this market, they're tiny and are dwarfed by real trucks. Here, this is considered a truck

Damn I don't know when is the last time I looked at the miles but right in the 82k-83k range. I can call down to the shop to get exact miles if you want.

A friend of mine managed to import his two-year old XJ-R from London to Perth with minimal financial issue. He "convinced" the guy evaluating the value that, being British, it was not worth much in Australia so he paid like $1000 import duty. He drove it five years in Perth then sold it for more than he paid for it new in the UK.

I really cannot believe your car has not sold yet. Don't give it away bro, it is a prime example of a sick build.

Thanks funny thing is that I had more people interested in the car at $26,000 than now at $20,000 I can't believe it. LOL ohh well. Its for sale to be sold it will take a while since weather is not on my side.

Thanks

Thanks man means a lot.
I can't believe it has not sold either. I have a full thread of what went in the car, people can look up my name and see how reliable the car was when I owned it and how much time and detail went into making this thing just right, yet again who pays enough attention to see even the lugs were purchased to flow well with the black scheme of the car and not hacked up and painted over OEM ones. Things like that are expensive to do and hard to build yet its something that no one will notice or give you even $1 extra for.

I think this car will sell for more in the spring than now, I just don't have the room to hold her plus worst comes to worst I will put her under a car cover and re list it in late March or April.

Yes that's the car, you would figure it should have sold right away, but that is not the case lol I guess the below 0 weather is not helping and driving it to show someone in this weather is not pretty either.

Thanks

Cars from the UK actually aren't worth much, they're usually moderately to heavily rusted. People here know not to buy an import from the UK and UK imports are generally much cheaper than officially imported cars. They have alot of salt and it's always raining there so the rust issue is very serious and the rust is very aggressive. I know a guy who bought a Quattroporte that was a UK import and after 3 months when it was put up on a hoist it turned out that it had MAJOR rust damage and the car was declared a statutory write off. I am not kidding, the car was never allowed to be registered again and even though he got it for much cheaper than a normal one he still paid $48k for it Anyone who knows cars and knows UK imports knows to avoid them like the plague (which is ironic ).
