New E55 record and a special thanks to....

I was screaming the hole way down the track. Lol.

:thank you:
I will be doing a few more things to the car before I go back to MIR for the 9 sec pass. We have a few ideas on how to get the turbos to spool faster and we are porting the heads. Methonal will be used.
I would also like to give credit to UPD for the converter.
It has ,since the beginning, made a huge difference in my car. It works very well and with no issues. And as everyone knows, turbo cars love the higher stall.
As well, street drivability is really smooth. I have no complaints what so ever. Now, since everyone is asking, I can turn the boost up more. We are past the dreaded 16psi limp mode.
It's just a matter of what the stock motor can hold. JSBenz are personal friends of mine and I race with them quite a bit. They hold the record for the fastest CL 1/4 mile and have pushed the limits in order to find a limit. They have hit over 740whp on NOS before detonation. So I am hoping to get close to that without causing any issues on my car. We strongly believe that the limit would be no more than 755wtq before it lets go.
So I will be pushing the limits once again and hopefully the limits don't push back.
I do have a spare motor and I'm getting that one built in order to push big psi in the future. Right now, I'm just trying to see how far the stock motor can go without any issues.
I will keep everyone informed and I will post another thread in the next few day to show everything that we've been through so far. You guys have no idea what kind of headache this has caused and I've even considered getting rid of the car. BUT since I finally got the record I've decided to keep pushing forward.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

thanks brotha!
It seems that traction off the line becomes an issue as the power levels get up with our Mercedes, so would a wide body with wider wheels and tires net a faster time?
If this is off topic let me know and I will post somewhere else.
