I pretty much gave up on finding a white E55 when I searched, everyone I found was riced the fck out or beat to sht. My preference was a tectite or flint grey but then my car popped up with no paint work, low miles with all service history and receipts back to the original owner trading in his 2001 E55 on it. I couldnt pass it up

Got the stock wheels from a member ILKO, they are in nice shape and I put 2 rear tires on them today. I like the stock wheels and have no intention on getting any others. Here is one pic I took after having issues most of the day with mounting and other stuff so it was dark and I took the pic inside on my friends lift with my phone and had to take a pic of the pic to get it online. lol. I know, I know looks like a stock e55, we have seen so many but here it is.
Thanks guys. Yeah going to get stock wheels today and probably even get a set of aftermarket wheels too. I'll post pics with stock wheels on the car later today or tomorrow and will list my black wheels as well. Someone with a different color will want the black wheels I'm sure.

Stock wheels with DR's Nitto NT05 for the track times. I just switched to MT's 305/35/19 and in the street...a whole different tire then the Nittos but the MT's are shaped like stop signs! I swear they are not round! lol They hook like a Mo Fo tho! I was hoping to get one more track run in this year but that looks grim!
I know the car has a low 10.40 in it and would pray for a 10.3x but if I got a drag pack I would easily go 10.3x and then would hope for a 10.2x!

I'm thinking of getting the ats-v for the wife but of course I would quietly mod it with some down pipes & mid pipes, ilarger inlet tubes and injectors hell I may just keep it myself 600hp@3600lbs

That is f'in great!
I haven't heard of a modded one yet but I am sure there is one out there. Wondering how easily they are to mod? You would think it would be somewhat easy.

How do the 305's sit on the 9.5" wheels do they look like they are really bulging out? I thought of doing it for the street, but wonder if they would rub. Although I do have 305/30/19 PS2s on. The 265/40/18 I use are not as tall and gives slightly better gearing for the 1/4. Besides 265's are enough to break parts in my car. Are you going for that 1.4x 60ft? Good luck!!

They sit perfectly...I will take pics tomorrow for you as it is in my warehouse. The nittos (same exact size) bulged pretty good, these barely bulge. If you look closely in my pics, you can see them bulging if they are the pics with nittos. I will send you pics of both as I will dig up nitto pics.
The MT's are a bit taller so I might actually gain from it bc of the 6 speed. The V 1st gear is pretty much for track only. I would be AMAZED if I got a 1.4x 60'...then I would be amazed again if I didn't break anything! lol
Edit: I just looked for pics with Nittos and I don't have anything that you can see close up and notice it. I will get pics of the MT's tomorrow though.
That's great that the big MT's fit well. I take it they are a little stiff with the cold weather. Did you manage to get them in a whitewall? I thought Caddy's are supposed to have whitewalls according to my CDV below....Maybe one day with a CTS-V motor & tranny swap I'll have to source some white wall MT Drag radials.

What rubber did you go with?
LOL, yes they are! I went with 275/35 Dunlops Direzza 102's...my buddy gets them real cheap and when I looked at a test with them they scored just below the best competition of tires, including pilot sports, and these were like $150 less per tire. I am changing the fronts tomorrow too bc the fronts pull a lot, they are wiped out, they look ok but they are not. My last set had brand new tires and NO pull at all so I know it is the tires. No biggie, I wanted stock wheels and new tires is always good! I'll use the one front tire as a spare so it's not the end of the world. Thanks again Ilko!
