the 300C dimensions are the size of the previous E38 7-Series BMW. Yes, larger than W210/W211 E-Class and smaller than a S-Class. The Magnum & 300 will have 20% W210 E-Class parts.
The Hemi is the bomb and the 3.5 liter V6 is not bad - 250HP for $25k. Only the 300C Hemi will have the MBZ 5-speed autostick and dual exhaust.

I never like Chrysler or Dodge either. However, these new LX rear drive cars have my interest and will get me in the showroom. Especially since they are riding on 20% Mercedes parts and the cars are almost half the price of a similar Mercedes. People must rember that Chrylser is all new and was purchased by Daimler-Benz in 1998. These new cars are the first products that have the total blessings of German engineering.

My syster in Mexico has a Crhysler Town & Country Van, it is fully loaded, and it has been a great, except in Mexico it is more expensive than here, but anyway, I have driven it, very nice, killing radio system, good engine response for a van (mini van), quiet.
In Mexico Chrysler has a lot better reputation than in the US and sales are very good for the Strattus and Intrepid (although they are Dodge here, in Mexico they are Chrysler), so I don't really think Chrysler is a burden on Daimler-Benz globaly. Also their trucks (Dodge's as part of Chrysler) sell a lot, at least here in Texas!
