Help purchasing X-Pipe, piping, and Flanges for E63

Hi guys,
I need some assistance in purchasing the correct parts to have my buddy weld up an X-Pipe to remove my secondary cat, and resonator.

i've search high and low, and what i've found was everybody stated that from the downpipes to secondary cat's, it is 2.5 inch piping, and after the catalytic converters it is a 2.75 inch piping? is this correct?

if this is correct do you guys have the welder flare out a 2.5inch to 2.75 inch?

do you use a 2.5 inch x pipe or a 3 inch x pipe? they don't make them in 2.75inch

also what flanges would mate up to the factory exhaust resonator? i'd like to have my buddy remove the secodary cats first so i could guage if i'm happy with that before i hack away the resonators.

but again i'd like this all to be modular as so when smog comes along, i could bolt it all back in.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Glad i didn't cut out the secondary cats this time. Just with the resonator delete the sound is very nice. Loud enough, not too loud, but not quiet at all either.
