iat temps, what's normal?

Hey guys I just put on a bocsch 010 and have been monitoring temps. the car seems to run between 20 and 25 degrees warmer than the outside temperature at cruising . Is this normal on a factory setup? Thanks

Depends on the rest of your cooling setup

For a car with split cooling and pump running constantly I'd say thats normal.

No split cooling done yet. But it has been cooler outside between 40 and 50.

Yeah thats normal. Give it a good WOT blast and see what it recovers down to. I have split cooling with additional smaller HE and pump always running. My car will cruise at 5-8 above ambient after cold start till I do a sustained WOT blast then after that i'll hover between 14 - 18 above ambient in all temps.

I just went wot. Iat were at 77. Did wot from 45 to 100 and temps went to 104 and sharply fell to 87 then stayed there for about 8 seconds then crept back to normal.

I do have a cold air intake I made myself and 1 cat removed. I was getting a baseline before I do split cooling and fsp. Does this sound good though so far?

Sounds good assuming 50deg ambient. Keep an eye on it after a long spirited drive to see how its holding up but it sounds good so far. I must have missed it but is your pump wired to run constantly? Also, interested in pix of your intake setup though.
