Big Thanks to SIR BOOST A LOT, SHARDUL & Mustangman281!!!

Just wanted to thank SIR BOOST A LOT!!

This man stepped up like a real boss and helped a fellow AMG owner in distress and sent me a stock E55 AMG throttle body to help me diagnose a weird ESP issue with no throttle input. On his own dime! Talk about a real car guy. I'm sure he is well liked in person as well as the forums.

SIR BOOST A LOT's actions shows true characther and also the giving spirit of christmas!

Your help is truly appreciated!!!! The car is back, First try boom.

We all know how it feels to have a car MIA. So, let's all give SIR BOOST A LOT, SHARDUL, Mustangman281, & HULK some credit where credit is due! Thank You guys for answering my questions and helping out. Especially SHARDUL! Seemingly endless help from you. Happy Hoidays!!

Warm Regards,
M.

Very warm feelings towards many of the extremely helpful individuals on this forum!

One of the reasons actually why I am so happy to own this car, the W211 E55 and E63 owners seem to really bond together over their unique cars.

Thank you so much, that was really cool of you to say.
I'm a huge proponent of being nice to random people you don't know regardless of what time of year. Life is much better for everyone IMO with that state of mind.
Best of luck with your car, Merry Christmas and Merry -whatever you might celebrate-!

No problemo. I always give credit where it's due. You are a stand up guy and deserve some more respect. Thank you!! Car sounds good, at first start up it smelled really rich like I had imagined. Form all the times I started it up trying to diagnose with rough idle. But, it cleared up and throttle response is sharp. I just need to swap the air filters clean the air boxes and it's ready to drive.

The engine oil, differential, transmission, Transmission pan filter, coolant, and brake fluid flushed and freshly topped off with MBZ lubricants. Plugs were changed already also. So the car should be good to go! Thanks for the help. I am really very grateful!

I dunno exactly. I did not want to start the car up and risk another rough idle again and risk fouling the plugs. So, as a 1 shot deal. I did all the things that I was told from reputable sources. Car fired up immediately.

Now, i just need to take it on a drive to see how it feels. But, from revs it sounds like its back on track.
