Finally determined my supercharger is shot

Ya with those numbers the car would be running like total ***** at idle especially. I would get another test done elsewhere. Misfires galore with numbers that low, if no engine light with misfires logged, those numbers sound way off

This is another great reason when you have any type of performance car modified or not and you beat it pretty good....the most important tool you can own is a wide band air fuel ratio gauge. If she runs well at 11.1 and you see and change from that you know you have a problem. I will not tune a car at all unless there is one in the car. It is the only way to "SEE" into the engine at any given point. Sorry to here the engine is hurt. Good luck.
Cheers Sean all good bro. Already on the case...
Get another opinion from another shop before diving into a engine rebuild/replacement. My LandCrusier had horrible compression but turned out to be the gauge. I can't say with confidence that is your situation but it can't hurt to get another compression test done to confirm.
Sorry to hear man. They are fabulous cars, but they do go wrong and damn it's $$$$

Hi mate and everybody !
Apologies for my english, I'm french.
I don't know mercedes engine, not more than AMG v8, but just want to give a hand to my friend lost in a middle of nowhere lol with a ****ing sophisticate German car...
1-So you're waiting for a new fuel pump delivery... that it's a good point but the compression trouble test won't be resolved by fuel pump changing ... So, as I told with another person in top you must do a Leakdown head cylinder compression test to know where is leaking from ( Oil system, cooling system, intake or manifold ) to how if it's valve seat, valve seal, piston ring or just cylinder head gasket gap (broken)
Must be sure that valve clearance is in tolerances measures ! better to do it first it just cost a gauge kit ...
20 psi is really low , it should be arround 10x more
2-Do you how much is compression pressure normally ?
3- Gotta find origin of the smoke (coolant or oil) and cause .

I'd do a leakdown test next. Bad compression numbers can come from bad or burnt valves. If that is the case, you will hear air rushing through the intake.
Small price to pay before shelling out all the bucks for a new motor. It may just be the heads.

The motor was taken out last week and is currently being pulled down to determine viability of rebuilding. More info as it comes to hand... ~

If the crankcase is OK, should be "economically rebuild-able"
Ask around for prices to surface and proof test for both head cylinders if you rebuild.
Take pictures if you can, pls ! I'm curious to see how it's made and the breakage ...

I dont know... the values you posted are extremely low.. i cant believe the engine still idles like it does in your video...
Please do some pictures of the damage, i really want so see it. Maybe its really just some valves in the heads. Saves big big money, since complete used heads are available around 500$/piece from ebay

MBWorld Fanatic!
I just parted an E55. I have some parts. I sold my E55 and was gonna convert an E500 to an E55 with these parts but I think I'm reconsidering it. What do you need?
