Quick question on air filter screws
I tried to pull them out and they got stiff at the end and would not come out. Do I keep turning through the stiff part to remove them? Seems odd.

I have two that have stripped, well the plastic in the air box just pulled out. Luckily there is a tad bit of thread left at the very bottom of the hole so the screw will bite. I need to replace my boxes though to be sure sometime soon. That would be the worst that would happen. E63 boxes are like 40 something each so not too bad. I know yours is a 55.

The screws are shapped to not fall out after you loosen them up enough to clear the lower box. That is normal and they can strip, so then you would need to find the next size larger SS screws.

Yep. Just back them up until slightly stiff. When u lift the housing up, you can see if any is still binding a little and back those up accordingly. Basically same height backed up for all
