Higher temps after going split coolant?? help

I monitored mine for about a hour last night and my pump acts differently then yours. I start the car, let it warm for a min and take off. IAT temps get all the way to 120 degrees then the pump kicks on and drops them down quickly. After that i can baby the car for probably 15 minutes or more and then the pump will kick off and get back to 120 iat and come back on. Or if i press the gas more then probably 25% the pump kicks back on immediately. Pump will not cut off if i am driving and going over 25% of the throttle.

Well i about hung myself when i got there. I didnt mention it but this kit did not go on very easily and the instructions where of little help. Anyways i used a dremel with a cutting wheel and carefully cut a slice in them, once i made it through i stuck a flathead in the little gap and turned it until they finally broke off. That was by far the hardest part.
