People are stupid. What in the world was the large man (kind to him) doing at 1:17 to the rear of the car. Was he seriously attempting to grab the back of the fin and lift/help the car on the ramp. (I do realize he stepped on the wood to keep it in place) What a moron. QUIT touching the just detailed car.

Looks like a very nice piece done by Ford. Again though, why do American car manufacturers have to use so much plastic parts just added on. Like the side skirts, front facia, splitter, etc...... Why. At least paint them the same color as the car or paint them black. Corvettes do the same. That stupid rear end should be painted the whole way, not stopped them paint parts of it black. They added all kinds of plastic crap to that car also. Also, interiors can they please make them smooth and put nice things on them. Why have the dash stick out towards the passenger ten ft. Just my opinion, wish for the same money the manufacturers would think things out better.

In my post above I was talking about all the plastic used on cars theses days. I understand its all about weight savings and not all cars can use CF due to cost. I saw some pictures of the GT where the plastic looking parts up close appear to maybe be CF parts. That would make it nice, still horrible interior dash IMO but wanted to slightly correct what i posted above. The Gulf Livery pictures of this car are stunning to say the least.

I too was freaking out when I saw the guy grab the corner of the car, I'm sure this car probably isn't a work mule, so who knows what it looks like underneath - he could have pulled off some panels held on with velcro

Saw one at the track a few years ago. Ran 11.00's stock. It hauled off the line. It didn't look anything like that one!

my favorite new car of the year. everybody is giddy over the NSX, i'm giddy over this. the NSX is a good car, the Ford GT is a amazing supercar that is very close to a race car. Oh and it looks like the entire car is Carbon...so yeah.

Meh, love the design but highly Dissapointed no TTV8, so are a lot of the gets on the FGT site. Plus I hear $300k territory...that's a lot of coin

Yeah, I'm surprised an Ecoboost V8 was not developed for this car.

The large old man was prolly just as confused as you were, he thought it was entirely made of recycled Tupperware/plastic w/tiny lawn mower engine, he could easily lift.. Funny you sound like the crankiest old fart that's never seen Dry Carbon Fiber, or a modern edgy car design before. Glad you saw the light.. Every bit you wanked about is Dry CF.... Seriously the funniest Supercar review I've ever read

no reason to develop a V8 ecoboost for this car. their current V6 ecoboost will probably make 900whp with just upgraded turbo's. maybe even 1000+whp.

its all about weight vs power vs need.
