Group Buy on Speedriven Trans Pans

Looking for interest in a group buy for the Billet Aluminum Trans pans for our cars.
Lets try for 20 members, Price to follow shortly.
Would be a beauty addition to the 722.9 and make it so much easier for DIY fluid changes with the addition port for overflow.

500 for the 722.6
570 for the 722.9- 7speed 63
could be looking at better pricing for 20 units, lets give it a try
May have to buy two, one for each car
The best part about this pan fore the 63 is the overflow, no guess work involved when doing a DIY trans oil change, priceless.

Interested...any more information on the pan, depth vs stock, internal baffling (the website does not have that much information), temperature improvements by having 1.5 qts more fluid ?? ...

Off the website
extra 1.5q extra trans fluid -- larger capacity is always better for trans life
billet aluminum--- should have greater heat dissipation
external fins--- assists in heat dissipation, exposed to the air stream under car
internal fins--- reduce fluid sloshing around and further expose fluid to cooler case temperature
drain/fill holes for an easier service--- best idea going for our cars DIY made easy
retains factory filter and gasket--- no issue with special order filters, no warranty issues
WHATS INCLUDED:- new mb trans pan bolts(stretch bolts, one time use)- gasket- filter- filter adapter/extender
- pan brackets- drain/fill plugs/washer's- billet pan Maintains and lowers trans temps under heavy use/normal use
Added insurance for those who "use" their car as it was intended
Also good for those who use their vehicle for towing
Fluid change made easy.

There was a guy that posted a while back and he said he had a website doing them for around 300$ but like cij911 said is there any info on temps before and after?

Not sure about the 300 part, but like the catch cans we all so graciously put on our cars to assist with the engine performance, you can buy a can for 100 bucks but do you want a quality piece on a AMG, obviously the answer was yes and we bought the best on the market.

Now these pans although may not reduce operating temps under certain conditions, it will surely reduce the time the oil is above optimal temps. Being in the air stream with the fins and also being made of aluminum heat dissipation should be quicker.

Personally the only thing holding me back previously was the price, with a group buy we can reduce that so the sting is less on the budget. Besides after some particular hard service, say road racing a change of the fluid may save from costly repairs down the road.
Owners spend thousands on a tune to just start a vicious assault on reliability, cels and rough this and poor that and limp me home issues.
Nobody looks at the trans until failure occurs, to me this trans pan would give some piece of mind for sure.
If you can find a good billet trans pan for less, let me know.

I'd be in depending on price and after seeing pictures. Cooler temps are always better.

Check out the Speedriven website for pictures
722.6- believe for the 55 series cars is 500
722.9- for the 63 series 7 speed is 570

Can also be used to cook the turkey first before installation, high quality for sure

Well I am not convinced you'll see any improvement, which is why I was hoping to see logs with transmission fluid temperature. I'm hoping Speeddriven can post information on before and after....
