CD Player: How/Why Do Some CD's Display Titles On Screen?
Most all the CD's I listen to are recorded on my own burner.
Why is it that a few will display song titles on the media screen, while others only display "track 1" etc?
Is this dependent on the brand of blank CD or the data I have recorded in my computer file?
How many lines of data will the screen display?
Anyone know?
Thanks.

With Roxio, the option you need to choose when burning is "Write CD TEXT".
This will enable the player to display the track information, and disc volume label as well.
