Eurocharged - Claimed gains vs. Real gains

I was asking because most of you at some point came from stock to modified I figured since you guys would have dealt with some of these problems and figured out the best options through your experiences that's all.

See if your dyno guy can hook you up with another dyno for a test. Your gains on pulley alone are in the ball park. Your base with tune was 370 or so. Seems low. Without tune on that dyno puts u at 345-350. All the numbers add up to be 35-40 hp low across the norm.

Did you ever get any baseline numbers? Hard to determine gains unless there is something to compare them to, preferably on the same dyno.

Who here has made 470 + whp on a Dyno Dynamics or Mustang dyno ? *NOT on a Dyno Jet*
This would be for : Pulley/Tune/Short (or LT) headers & of course IC pump/HE to support.
I'm going to leave out dyno calibration/sea height or shoot out etc. just to get a general idea across the board.

Not sure if this helps.... but I will give you some of MY experiences.
I do a lot of ecu remapping and dyno tuning here in Australia.
Almost ALL dynos read different, some up some down. So while the ACTUAL number may not be ( in your opinion ) correct, the gains or drops AS A PERCENTAGE should be pretty accurate.
There are also so many other things that affect dyno numbers, tyre compound, tyre pressure, way it is tied on the dyno , all the way down the diff oil used. and thats not vene before we go to atmospheric conditions... air quality etc.
Wherever possible I always dyno the car before and after, because just because the number is lower than what you wanted, doesn't mean it is slower.
I also run many dyno days and hear it all the time.. what did my car only make 400 ? yesterday at MrX dyno it made 450 ??
The other thing, what does the Bum-O-Meter say ? does it feel faster ?
I hope that helps a little.
If you have any questions or criticisms let me know ( politely !! ), as I am always interested in learning new things

Wow Toadster , you see thats why Im questioning myself when I hear people like yourself with at one point had similar mods but got more gains, makes me wonder why I'm much lower.
Once again thank you guys for all the advice
I went to Garage yourself in Miami, they have a Dyno Dynamics

Hulk is right anyone can work with Jerry if you have the cable, but after the little conversation they had about dyno configurations I wouldn't suggest it hahaha
Let me know where and when you go I would like to go for another dyno session maybe ill go with you so you can give me your opinion as well in person on a dyno about my issues and do a 3rd gear pull this time

If you can log via zt2 and dashdaq then dyno doesn't really matter because you give Jerry the log of the dyno run and he adjusts it.
I was tuned in maybe 10-15 min
Without logs, you have to send him the dyno graph and he adjusts timing, fueling etc
The cable and tune upload is a great tool to have

Andrew (Moosejaw) originally had it done at ragetek with Nemo. We can set up a date with Nemo and go from there. I remember when I had to send my ECU to Jerry when I had my C55 back in 2006!

Hulk not sure if you were referring to me, but mine hesitates a little from a dead stop then starting off. It kinda feels as if the traction control kicks on but its not. Does it even with soft throttle given. The throttle body had been changed but hasn't been retuned for it.. Again if you weren't referring to me I apologize for going off topic..

I just dropped off my car yesterday to Eurocharged here in Houston. Getting headers, H/E, TCU, and Dyno Tune done. Previously had just an 84mm s/c pulley and logic lab tune. Honestly don't really recommend logic lab tunes. I put down 393/442 on a Dynocom dyno with those two mods and a good 010 pump. Aiming for at least 475/500 with Jerry's tune. I doubt he'll disappoint
