Congrats on the new Beast, Craig! Can you keep those rear wheels/tires after you lower it, or will they interfere?
Questions for the V guys:
How hard is it to find a gray sedan in auto?
I've read that the V is softer on the low end compared to the 113K. How's that possible when you're comparing a much larger displacement, pushrod motor with a roots blower?

Gray auto sedan should be fairly easy to find.
Maybe the "softer" is referring to the difference between SC feel? The V has no jerky SC engagement like the 55K.

Install alone was $3k complete repaint $10k @ SCC in BH, CA.
Canepa, does top notch work, their kit pricing is on point! For comparo I paid $11,500 for my SL Misha kit (It was a bit more intricate, NOT better just more complex w/bunch of Carbon Fiber bits, hood, rear diffuser, front bumper splitter, trunk wing spoiler, rear vents on bumper so maybe justify the extra $)
I'd def buy that Canepa kit for V wagon.. The hood from pic I can see it's quite possibly modified for the better adds a nice aggressive note inmop to finish the kit.. This Canepa WB V wagon in Battle ship grey matte or full gloss black w/matte blk accents would be

I think the lighting is playing tricks on your eyes as far as the hood goes. Look at the other pics here....

I'm surprised I've never heard anything about the D3 widebody kit; priced at $10k.

That diffuser is hideous!

Those V hoods are stock except for the louvered design.
DVC, Keep an eye out on the ctsvowners forum for your desired color and vehicle of choice. I found my coupe on there which has a basic heads, cam bolt on package making over 600rwhp. That forum has true enthusiasts that know there cars very well.
As far as comparing it to my Weistec e55 or well built stage 3+ m113k, the AMG low end has a lot more grunt. It is way more raw and feels significantly faster, HOWEVER above 4500rpms, a V setup with heads and cam coupled with headers pulley etc will eat the m113k cars up.
Looking at my old m113k graph next to the V graph, the V has massive top end power where as the AMG tends to drop off after 6200rpms fast.
I look forward to tracking the car and will certainly report back in this thread.

I read when RR did all the testing on this system they pushed it to 750BHP w/zero failures & detuned it for ultra longevity/safety, screw that I want 750 BHP YESTERDAY!!

Nice. Sniff... I sold mine in December last year, 2 weeks after installing a 175mm C/P and dyno tuning it. Miss mine terribly, sniff, especially since I am now driving a Suzuki Jimny 1300cc. I simply could no longer afford the monthly fuel bills anymore - the price of AMG parts didn't help either. Hope you have fun modding your new ride.

All good I'm schd to have Dyno tune by Jeremy OE this coming wed after pulley install & full Valve controled Startech exhst, what I thought you might have is a possibly smaller pulley? or underdriving accesories w/additional pulley's etc All I could find was 1 size fits all 2.5 pulley for all 5.0 Supercharged autos from RangeRover to Jaguar there's nothing better? It's a tiny snout pulley, is 2.5" as small as they can go? Forgive my ignorance, you can't see jack in the engine bays, are these 5.0 blowers clutchless? & reason for no clutch pulley offerings out there??
