2005 E55 Tensioner Question
Anyone have a god reccommendation for a 2005 E55 Supercharged tensioner? Mine is starting to clatter a little at idle. I think the part number is : 1122000970
I see many of them out there and don't want to pay dealer retail. Anyone bought one recently at a good price and happy with their purchase?
Also same question on a belt replacement. Might as well replace it at the same time.

Drive belt tensioner (right) $187 at Pelican Parts. The $183 above is the cheapest price I've seen quoted.
Rather than spending $450 for the supercharger idler pulley I spent $35 for the following:
- Dayco 89070 idler pulley
and a 6203 deep groove ball bearing
Remove the idler pulley, separate the old plastic and the aluminum pulley from the shaft, remove the circlip from the aluminum pulley, push out old bearing, install new bearing with the circlip, then reassemble the new plastic pulley and the rebuilt aluminum pulley onto the shaft.
