POLL: What is the best looking 18" wheel you have seen on a W211 E55?

Just trying to get some opinions. Looked through 160 pages of the e55 picture thread and still haven't decided what looks best.

Trying to stick with 18s. THanks!

If you want to stick to 18" wheels then take a look at the OEM W211 E63 wheels.

yeah, was thinking that was the way to go for me.... but they are IMPOSSIBLE to find... I really don't want to go with Reps... I would prefer oem 55 wheels over that....

Easily the 18" CLS - AMG wheels since they are wider and have a more aggressive offset when compared to the stock E55 wheels. - Gives you an OEM + look. Trying to find a set here in BC, Canada.

is there any mod that you have to do to run it on a e55 body? I really don't like the ultra-stretched tire look,.... got any pics?

drool.... do want... why is it so hard to find wheels for a Mercedes... I just don't get it...

what size tires do you have to run on the cls offset AMG wheels? Are the fronts the same as the E? Or both front and rear are diff offset?

Thanks for the help!

245 front, 275 rear would work without issue. The CLS AMG offset is more aggressive for both front and back.

E55 - 30 front, 39rear
CLS55 - 25front, 28rear

thank you... in my research the cls wheels are also 1/2" wider in front and rear as well, right? 8.5/9.5 cls vs 8.0/9.0 e55. What profile tire size for 245/275?

looks like the 2014 cls 5-spokes wheels are way off and wont work at all.

Did they make the CLS wheels in 18"? I've only ever seen 19"s. But yeah the offsets are different on the CLS wheels. Im actually getting a little rub in the rear now when going over bumps, is this normal?

The CLS55 wheels are money. However a 10mm spacer front and back does wonders for the look of the car.

I did not rub with 275's but they were very close to the rear fender. I could see 285's rubbing.
